Emma Charles-Worthy

Emma Charles, B. Mus. completed her Bachelor of music at Monash University in 2010 and is currently undertaking her honours degree in music performance. She is also undertaking the Suzuki Primary Accreditation course. She began her musical journey at the tender age of two, learning Suzuki violin under the tutorage of Cathy Lee in San Francisco. Since then she has learnt from top teachers including Moirsheen Kelly, Goertz Richter, Fintan Murphy and Elizabeth Sellars. Emma is currently in several chamber ensembles including the ‘’Banksia Trio’’ and Monash Sinfonia, who recently undertook a tour of Brazil. She has played on 3MBS as a soloist and in chamber groups as part of the ‘’Live at the Convent’’ program. Emma loves the mixture of teaching all age groups and has a strong focus on technique and musicality.

Tahli Elsner

Beginning her musical education on the violin at the age of 5, Tahli Elsner continues to pursue her love for music and the violin. Under the tutelage of Beth Hemming, Tahli was awarded her Associate Diploma of Music in 2010 and her Licentiate Diploma of Music in 2011 from the Australian Music Examinations Board.  In 2017 she earned her Diploma in Music Performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music studying violin with Dr Curt Thompson. In 2014, Tahli performed solo at the Melbourne Recital Centre and has also been a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra,  Melbourne Youth Orchestra and the Melbourne University Symphony Orchestra. Tahli’s passion for the violin led her to  begin teaching in 2017 at Caulfield Grammar School. She is currently completing her Suzuki Primary teaching accreditation which she hopes to complete in 2018.
