Jessica Zuk

Jessica Zuk, a graduate of Music Works Magic, has achieved an A. Mus. A (Flute) with distinction. Currently studying for her Bachelor of Music degree, she is equally at home playing both flute and piccolo, and has performed on both instruments with the Monash Academy Orchestra and the Monash Wind Symphony and Flute ensembles, in addition to Melbourne Youth Music’s ensembles. In 2017 she was awarded the university’s Anna Chmiel Memorial Woodwind Prize. She enjoys performing works of all shapes and sizes, from the intimacy of solo and chamber repertoire to the thrill of orchestral music. Professionally, she has been involved in chamber performances including a 2018 residency at Club Voltaire in North Melbourne and the 2018 Geelong After Dark festival.

Karen Dunlop

Karen Dunlop (B. Mus, A Mus .A, L Mus A.) is a Suzuki Primary Flute Teacher, a Suzuki approved Baby and Toddler trainee, and teaches Orff Schulwerk at stage 1.

Karen has had extensive experience teaching kids flute privately, and in schools. She has also taught music for babies and toddlers privately and for organisations.

Karen finds music and education endlessly fascinating. Teaching music brings her the greatest joy.
