Kaylie Melville, B.Mus Perf. (Hons) completed a Bachelor of Music with first class honours in percussion performance at the University of Western Australia in 2010. As a a percussionist and drummer, Kaylie was a
founding member of the Quadraphonic Percussion quartet, a casual player with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and an active member of the Perth musical theatre scene. In November 2010, Kaylie
travelled to Indianapolis to perform David Pye’s “Rebana Loops” quartet at the Percussive Arts Society’s International Convention (PASIC). Since relocating to Melbourne in early 2011 Kaylie has
performed with the Australian Youth Orchestra and the Sydney Sinfonia, as well as being selected as one of Speak Percussion's Emerging Artists. In addition to this extensive performance experience
Kaylie has taught in schools and privately since 2004, working with students of all ages as a music tutor and ensemble director.
