Group music for Primary School Children

Groovy Guitars for Beginners, Toot Suite - Recorder Ensemble for beginner recorders, Tribal drumming drum circle, Uke'n Play Ukulele group, Magic Voices Children's Choir.

Together students will learn to sing and play a huge repertoire of song material. Students will learn chord formations as well as how to tune their instruments and care for them.

Monday 4:15-4:55pm

A fun class where children will learn to sing a huge repertoire of song material, play all of this on the recorder and and develop music literacy.

Monday 5:00-5.40pm

Tuesday 4:15-4:55pm



Uken play.jpg Students will learn to play a range of chords and sing along with their Ukes. They learn to tune and care for their instruments and have lots of fun together.

Tuesday 5:00-5.40pm







A wonderful opportunity to grow your child's musicality in a fun nurturing environment. Children learn to:

  • sing in tune
  • hold parts
  • develop pitch memory and solfege.

Wednesday 4:15-5.15pm


Children will enjoy learning music in a group. Private lessons available also in a large range of instruments.

Parents are invited to stay and take notes for their children, so they can help them at home with practice. (though not required is recommended)

Children will perform in a concert on Sunday 22nd March 2015.

There will be an end of year session/picnic in Hopetoun Gardens under the rotunda and a performance at Ripponlea Estate on Friday 11th December at 5pm.

Children learn a huge repertoire through the year.

A short daily home practice is expected to help children keep up with others in the group. Parents welcome to observe.
